Let’s not mince words: Astrology is stupid. Astrology is invalid and obsolete—a completely fictional belief system which is predicated on people’s gullibility and superstitious tendencies. Astrology is nothing more than an emotional panacea that is antithetical to active inquiry. Astrology is pseudoscience based on antiquated ideas.
Scientific research clearly and continually confirms that astrology is a pseudoscientific pursuit amounting to little more than wishful thinking. There has been no scientifically valid evidence to back up astrological beliefs. Furthermore, (and perhaps most importantly) not a single astrologer has contributed anything of cognitive value to any field of the social sciences. Not one single thing.
